The main challenge in this fixture was to accommodate 23 different components on a single vice by change of top jaws. Our compact self centering vice caters to the space constraints on the special purpose machine. This vice has an in-built cylinder and is hydraulically operated. The vice was designed to provides 20 KN of clamping force at a pressure of 70 bar with self centering accuracy of 0.020mm.
